Lt. Cabiaso Mavna | MED BOT 14-Feb-25 09:54 PM
Her first proper away mission, what a thrill! A general practitioner like herself was not usually found aboard runabouts or on the manifest for away teams, but hey, doctors were plenty needed in unknown terrain. You never know, a brand new kind of root could cause someone to twist their ankle…or, y’know, worse, but Mavna never hesitated to look on the bright side! She checked and double-checked her med kit, more so occupying herself while she waited than properly making sure she had everything on-hand.

Maggie has shown up! She lightly paced, sent a message to Tina telling her she would be away on a mission, and otherwise standing there as she waited for the team to get going.

Lt. JG. Emta Hanneth | SEC BOT 14-Feb-25 11:15 PM
Hanneth arrived to muster with the others. His tricorder and phaser sat on their waist as they should. This would be his second away mission with 777 and he was looking forward to it. These had a wider variety so far than the usual anti-pirate raids and skirmishes the Echo Star had taken on as a very battle capable Akira. Even if he ended up standing and watching others work, it was still experience and he could easily learn plenty by observing others as he stood watch. (edited)

Ens. Vanik S'tah'rok | ENG BOT 14-Feb-25 11:32 PM
Vanik responded swiftly to the call for an away team. Being a warp core engineer he was always pleased to go on away missions and work on a ship in flight, rather than a docked one. On this assignment it was rare for him to do more than routine maintenance or repairs on docked ships. He joined the others in the airlock, standing among the crew in patient silence and awaited his orders from his superiors.

Lt. Dagis | OPS BOT 15-Feb-25 10:01 AM
Despite not normally prioritising going on away missions, Dagis decided she wanted to ‘touch grass’ or whatever it was people said and get off the station for a bit, and while the mission she was signing up for had some unknowns and risks, participating in some actual expiration felt quite exciting to her, and thus to the airlock she went. Besides, she felt she might be of some use. (edited)

Lt. T'Kastrir | SCI BOT 15-Feb-25 10:06 AM
Having not participated in an away mission for a considerable period of time, the one that was being assembled had piqued the scientist’s interest. It seemed like it would be a unique experience, and one that T’Kastrir could see logical benefit in experiencing. While he wasn’t a cartographer, but rather a stellar cartographer, the Vulcan-raised Human believed like his general knowledge might come of use during the mission.

Lt. Renakir tr'Torre'vnau | OPS BOT 15-Feb-25 10:07 AM
Showing up was Starbase 777's gangliest bitch, Renakir Solait. He had left Kali-fal at the pet daycare during this away mission. She looked so sad when he left her, but promised her he'd be back. Renakir was looking tall and gangly as ever in his clean and well pressed uniform. His hair looked a little different too as he had shaved the sides of his undercut a bit more to clean up the style.

Lt. JG. Saren tr'Lareth | SCI BOT 15-Feb-25 11:20 AM
Not too long after, Saren also showed up - bold of you to assume that a zoologist wouldn't be excited to throw himself into an away team to an uncharted planet. People already present at the airlock received a nod and a greeting from the junior assistant.

Having left his Epohh with Telim and his son with Elohae, their babysitter, Vara'l headed into the Airlock area. He wasnt Security yes but even if he ended up standing and watching people work he reckoned another set of eyes that watched for unwelcome surprises could always be used.

Cdr. Rii Pin Relem | CMD BOT 15-Feb-25 02:23 PM
Not long after Vara’l’s arrival, Rii stepped in, taking stock of those gathered at the airlock. With a warm greeting to each present, they smiled and tried to present a steady force under this anticipation. This mission promised to be invaluable for all involved, and both Rii and the colony were eager for what lay ahead.

Lt. One of One | SCI BOT 15-Feb-25 02:33 PM
It was a science mission, and One... had never been on a lot of those. A few, here and there, but in the grand scheme of things their job had never been to go out. They were taking the chances they got now, as ACSO; thus, despite their specialty not laying within environmental survey, they came along for the mission.

Vara'l slipped into an at attention stance once the Commander entered. The initial slightly relaxed slant of his stance one that shifted and bled away in the face of Rii. Something he sort of concealed as he stepped off to one side a bit and busied himself as he checked over the stuff in his bags and ensured he had everything. Did so and then slipped out his PADD as he proceeded to add yet more things to the lift of stuff he'd passed on to Elohae for Telim to do and such. He'd probably passed on far too much stuff but better a long list than one that happened to lack something that was needed.

She had not been certain about this away mission until she had been almost halve way to the airlock already, but when she walked in there she had managed to settle her mind. At least this mission should turn out to be less unsettling than the last one she had been on... hopefully. She gave small nods to the people she recognised and found a place close to a wall to stand and mentally go over what she had with her to occupy her thoughts.

The Breen Mak had decided to go on the away mission being security of course had many uses maybe not so much in this type of away mission though. The 7 foot tall Breen entered the airlock seeing all the people made him feel slightly better, this would be his first rodeo, away mission being posted here.

While the team gathering was happening, the USS Eventide was getting prepared for the mission - with a double check on it's shuttle that will be needed for further descend onto the Thrakos V. With that done, the Somerville-class' doors quite literally opened for the officers - and the Annari representative who would follow them along on the mission and just had arrived to the airlock - to enter.

Vara'l finished his check on his go bag, nodded to himself and then looked to their airlock. Looked to it and waited patiently for the time to arrive for them all to board the Eventide. The Romulan calm as he waited for a moment and then slipped into the airlock and boarded the Eventide.

The normally awkward Maggie was giddy with excitement as she stepped into the ship, she was so amped to tell her mom about this.

Cdt. T’Loran | SCI BOT 15-Feb-25 03:20 PM
T’Loran, however, was definitely very excited about all of this. It was baby’s first away mission, after all, she hadn’t gotten to do much on the ship she was on before, and she was happy to be able to come along and learn about what people actually did on away missions. Of course, she didn’t express any of that on her face- nope, only perfect Vulcan neutrality here, thank you very much. She had come into the airlock, immediately spotting Evoras and her fellow science officers, and decided to metaphorically glue herself to them. Which meant standing away from them at a respectable Vulcan distance, but closer to them than to anyone of another division. Did she actually speak to anyone? No. Was she right on their heels as they got onto the Eventide? Yes.

Cdr. Evoras Lhai'Ivek | SCI BOT 15-Feb-25 03:38 PM
Once she was done going over everything she took a look around and made a quick mental note that someone should probably keep an eye on their new Cadet. Checking what scientists were present and finding multiple people she trusted to do that if necessary she headed into the ship.

Lt. JG. Saren tr'Lareth | SCI BOT 15-Feb-25 03:50 PM
"Sirs," he addressed his two senior officers, the word used sounding rather official, but his tone was light. The fact that the rest of the three science heads seemed to have a similar idea as he did regarding the mission, did entertain the Romulan, but he kept that thought to himself. That energy was used to board the Eventide instead.

The colony leader followed suit, intending to get to the Eventide's bridge.

Lt. Five of Eight | OPS BOT 15-Feb-25 04:36 PM
Five made their way to the Eventide! Since Dagis had the bridge, they'd make their way down to Eventide's engineering.

Lt. Rehszan | SCI BOT 15-Feb-25 04:42 PM
Rehszan, who for such a massive beast had somehow managed to go undetected until this moment, made his way to Eventide as well. After all, an android scientist was very helpful to have on these kinds of missions!

Lt. Dagis | OPS BOT 15-Feb-25 04:58 PM
Dagis made her way onto the Eventide along with everyone else, giving a nod and a smile to Five as they parted ways for the time being.

With Eventide safely back at 777, everyone returned home to rest from all the running around on Thrakos V; with the exception of those that would be involved in the diplomatic talks, who made their way to the #cmd-briefing-room .
